Catbox Entertainment and C3 Fights present a night of nonstop professional boxing action at Remington Park Casino in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Fight fans have come to expect from a Catbox Entertainment production unparalleled excitement not only in the ring but also in the hoopla of the fighters, their entourages, the display of colors by the University of Oklahoma Color guard, the Comanche Nation dancers and drummers and the unique presentation of the National Anthem accompanied by violin.
The main event presents undefeated Native American Boxing Council Super Middleweight Champion George “Comanche Boy” Tahdooahnippah (19-0-1, 18 KOs).
The co-main event features undefeated Oklahoma Lightweight Champion Noah Zuhdi (7-0, 7 KOs), named in 2009 as The Oklahoman’s boxing prospect of the year and featured in international boxing magazine Ringside.
World rated top ten and WBC Continental Americas Light Middleweight Champion Carson Jones (22-7, 14KOs) will be making his third appearance at Remington Park.
Carson recently returned from sparring Julio Caesar Chavez, Jr. (39-0) and reports are he got the best of Chavez every sparring session.
Heavyweights of immense proportions will also be fighting. Former OKC Blazer, 290 pound heavyweight Ron “the Ice Man” Aubrey (5-2, 5 KOs) of OKC and Ty Cobb (5-1, 5 KOs) of Wichita Falls, Texas are on the fight card.
Ice Man Aubrey was the ice hockey enforcer who fought over 600 fights on the ice and will be fighting a rematch with 271 pound John Fish (0-2) of Guymon, Ok.
Light Heavyweight Manuel “the Chicano Dream” Esparza (20-9-1, 5 KOs) is also scheduled on the card. Esparza recently fought former No. 1 middleweight contender Edison Miranda (32-4), and has fought former World Champion Hector “Macho” Camacho (79-5).
Rugged Jonathan Nelson (16-20, 16 KOs), always in a slugfest, is looking forward to fighting back in OKC fighting rough Terrence Harris (0-3). Harris has a draw with super tough Kyle Sherman (10-2, 6 KOs) and promises an upset.
Immediately after the presentation of colors by the University of Oklahoma Color Guard, Oklahoma’s own Darla Z will sing the National Anthem accompanied by violinist Gena Alexander.
Darla Z has opened in concert for country legend Willie Nelson, performed to sold out crowds at Sam’s Town Casino in Las Vegas and recently appeared in concert with Wayne Newton.
