WBA cruiser champ Guillermo Jones will finally defend the title he won almost a year ago in Germany with a TKO over Firat Arslan. Jones will take on Russian Valery Brudov on October 24 in Cannet Cote d´Azur, France, with AMI Production promoting.
Matchroom Promotions in the UK will stage the fight for the vacant European heavyweight title between Albert Sosnowski and Paolo Vidoz at a date to be announced. The parties, Matchroom and OPI 2000, came to an agreement before purse bids were held.
Arena Box Promotion have fighters in action on both sides of the Atlantic on September 18. In Castellon, Spain, heavies Steffen Kretschmann and Konstantin Airich, as well middleweight Mahir Oral, return after losses last time out.
