Darren Barker’s 1200 mile journey to honour Ricky Hatton | Matchroom Boxing

Darren Barker is cycling and swimming from Edinburgh to Morocco. As he approaches the final stage of that epic 1,200-mile journey across four countries and two seas, Matchroom’s cameras caught up with the former middleweight world champion.

Barker is raising money and awareness for CALM, a charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide. Barker’s friend Ricky Hatton was a long-time ambassador for CALM and a passionate supporter of its mission to prevent suicide and help people through their darkest moments. Barker’s journey is a tribute to his friend’s life and legacy.
