Final Round Promotions enters the sport with inaugural card tonight
Newly formed Final Round Promotions, based out of Poughkeepsie, NY and headed up by CEO Brian Burke, will have its first show tonight at the Mid Hudson Civic Center.
While the card is not full of big time established stars, it does consist of many undefeated hopefuls and will feature a minor title bout for the USA New York State Welterweight Championship as Daniel “Hudson Valley Kid” Sostre, 10-3, makes the third defense of his belt against Jay Krupp, 14-3.
Also on the card as the co-main feature is undefeated DiBella Entertainment upstart and amateur sensation Luis Orlando Del Valle, 8-0, who will face Jorge Cordero, 4-2, at featherweight.
The undercard will showcase undefeated super middleweight Lennox Allen, 10-0, vs. Amador Acevedo, 3-3, middleweight Bryant Pappas, 10-0 vs. Josh Hammock, 9-6, former top ranked amateur heavyweight Kimdo Bethel, 1-0, vs. Benjamin Lee, 1-2, and Irish welterweight prospect Stephen Haughian, 18-1, who’s opponent is TBA.
Rounding out the card will be lightweight Luis Rodriguez and undefeated heavyweight Detroy “Big Boy” Jones, who along with Daniel Sostre, are managed by Anthony Bongiorni and KO Consultants.
