Boxing In Australia: Briggs Teams With Hussein For Danny Green IBO Title Clash

Gold Coast boxer Paul ‘Hurricane’ Briggs is in Perth this week to prepare for his challenge to WA’s IBO Cruiserweight Champion Danny Green.

Briggs has left experienced coach Johnny Lewis and has teamed up with Billy Hussein to prepare for his title assault in Sydney on the 21st July.

Interestingly, Green’s former coach Jeff Fenech announced on the weekend that he wanted to work with Hussein and Briggs to plot the demise of his former protégé.
