Boxing Result: Andrade Crushes Saunders To Stay Unbeaten

Last night in New Hampshire, highly touted undefeated junior middleweight prospect, Demetrius Andrade improved to (11-0, 8KO’s) destroying Dave Saunders, 9-10 (6), in the main event bout of of the evening on the annual “The Fight to Educate” card at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester.

The 2007 Amateur World Champion, and 2008 U.S. Olympian Andrade, who hails from Providence, RI, used his superior speed and power to completely annihilate Saunders, jumping on him with lightening quick combinations to both the body and head from opening bell.

Just before the end of the second, Andrade unleashed a devastating combo that sent Saunders down and out face first. Saunders laid motionless for several minutes after, but thankfully was able to leave the ring by his own power.

It was yet another spectacular performance for Andrade who will be back in action very soon as he looks to close 2010 with a bang.

Saunders has now lost eight in a row, having been stopped on six of those occasions.

The fight, Andrade’s first scheduleded eight rounder, was presented by Star Boxing and Banner Promotions on the Gotham Boxing promoted card.
