Irish super bantamweight based in Las Vegas Wayne McCullough gets his second crack at WBC champion Oscar Larios this July. The first fight between the two happened this past February, and many observers felt that, in kind with McCullough’s defeat to Scotland’s Scott Harrison, that he had lost soundly to the Mexican champion Larios. However, before a complication requiring surgery appeared and sidelined Larios, he attested to the fact that he would very much like to give McCullough a rematch, perhaps even in the Irishman’s native Ireland. McCullough will likely train with Eddie Futch disciple and currently sought after boxing trainer Freddie Roach out of Roach’s Wildcard Gym.
