Ahead of his IBF light welterweight title challenge to champion Kostya Tszyu, undefeated Manchester fighter Ricky Hatton admitted recently that he is experiencing nerves as never before. And with good reason. Tszyu is one of boxing’s most lethal punchers and perhaps the most dominant light welterweight champion of the past twenty years in the sport. Hatton also ventured that he has never felt so confident before a fight and gym reports indicate that he is in rare condition for Tszyu having tackled a rigorous fourteen-week training camp.
