WBU cruiserweight champion from Wales Enzo Maccarinelli knocked out unheralded Roman Bugaj in a single round as one of the featured attractions of the Kostya Tszyu-Ricky Hatton IBF light welterweight attractionm being held tonight at the MEN Arena in Manchester, England.

Also, WBU light middleweight champion Wayne Alexander kept his knockout reputation alive with a stunning left hook on challenger Christian Bladt. The end came in the fifth round.

In other action, former WBC heavyweight title challenger Danny Williams returned to form with a third round stoppage of Zoltan Petranyi. Williams was set to fight Ralph Packheiser but with that fight failing to materialize, Petranyi filled the opponent voide for Williams. Few doubt that the result would have been different in any case.
