Tonight’s Telefutura Solo Boxeo Fight Card Sold Out

It’s the first “Sólo Boxeo Tecate” event of the New Year, and fight fans in Fairfield, Calif. have kicked off 2011 by making tonight’s hard-hitting card at the Sports Center a sell-out.

The red-hot, seven-bout card is headlined by unbeaten rising star Brandon Gonzales against fellow prospect Lester “El Cubanito” Gonzalez in an eight-round super middleweight fight and an eight round welterweight bout between Fairfield’s Alan Sanchez and Los Mochis Sinaloa, Mexico veteran Cristian Favela.

Fans that weren’t able to get tickets won’t be shut out, as Gonzales vs. Gonzalez and Sanchez vs. Favela will be televised on TeleFutura’s “Sólo Boxeo Tecate.”

This night of world-class professional boxing is presented by Don Chargin Productions and Golden Boy Promotions with matchmaking by Jorge Marron and local support from Paco Presents and sponsored by Cerveza Tecate and AT&T. Doors open at 6:00pm PT, the first bell rings at 7:00pm PT and the TeleFutura broadcast begins at 11:30pm ET/PT (10:30pm CT).
