OneSongchai Boxing: Silachai Retains WBO Oriental Belt In Thailand

WBO #9 lightweight Thai Tor Silachai (20-2, 14 KOs) easily kept his WBO Oriental 135lb title when he defeated Filipino Arnel Donal (10-2-1, 4 KOs) on Friday at Maekong Pier in Municipality of Chiangkong, Chiangrai, Thailand.

The Thai fighter rapidly grabbed the victory as he mostly displayed one-side attack from the opening round, forcing the Filipino refused to continue at the beginning of round three. Thai successfully kept his WBO regional belt for the sixth time.

In other action, WBO#6 bantam Pungluang Sor Singyu (32-1, 20 KOs) won a close but unanimous decision over Phudphadnoi Muangsima. This was a close affair as Phudphadnoi did better than expected, exchanging punches with the WBO regional 118lb title holder in a six round exciting bout.

Finally, experienced Pungluang was announced to be the winner on all 58-57 scorecards.

Also, Thongtaeng Muangsima outpointed Taharn-ek Tor Silachai in a six round non-title bout. This event was promoted by Onesongchai Boxing Promotion.
