DiBella Entertainment’s tough 135-pounder Leavander Johnson (33-4-2, 25 KO’s) and Stefano Zoff (43-9-2, 17 KO’s), will battle for the Vacant IBF Lightweight Title on Friday night June 17th at the Palalido Dello Sport in Milano, Italy. Zoff hails from Monfalcone, Italia, so he will be fighting on his home turf, while Leavander travels to Italia from Atlantic City. The two fight veterans have combined for 76 victories and 42 knockouts during their careers.
Bazooka Back on HBO – DBE-promoted Ghana native Ike”Bazooka” Quartey (35-2-1, 30 KO) is back in the U.S. and back on HBO when he squares off against Verno Phillips (38-9-1, 20 KO’s) in a 10 round Middleweight bout on Saturday, June 18th at 10pm ET from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. The fight will be the co-feature on the Glen Johnson vs. Antonio Tarver world light heavyweight championship card.
Broadway Boxing To Air On Three Networks – DiBella Entertainment’s June 9th installment of Broadway Boxing Presented by Mohegan Sun from the Grand Ballroom at Manhattan Center featuring Dmitry “Star of David” Salita vs. Louis Brown and Edgar Santana vs. Derrick Moon will air Saturday night, June 18th at 8:00 PM on Fox Sports Net New England and HDNet, then on MSG Network on June 19th at 6:00 PM, June 23rd at 3:00 PM, and June 30th at 12:00 PM.
