Last Thursday, in the Astor Film Lounge, Berlin, Germany, The Majestic Film Company played host to more than 100 Media Representatives as they attended a press conference with brothers Vitali and Vladimir Klitschko. They were there for the presentation of a 30 minute clip from the documentary film entitled ‘Klitschko’. The film ‘Klitschko’ of Leopold Hoesch’s Broadview Pictures was produced under the direction of Sebastian Dehnhardt and not only features snap-shots of their fights and unseen footage but also – for the first time – an insight into their private lives.
The journalists who were present seemed disappointed when the film trailer ended – they would have liked to see the whole film!
Afterwards, selected media had the opportunity to get detailed interviews at the start of what would become an ‘interview marathon’ for the two brothers! And on Friday, Vladimir Klitschko was on the red carpet to promote the film at the German Film Awards Ceremony and was also on hand to present a ‘Lola’ (German Film Award) to the winner of the best film documentary.
The film ‘Klitschko’ will premier at the Tribeca / ESPN Sports Film Festival between April 20 to May 1st.
