Risum Boxing: Comunales Defeats Alegre In Uruguay

UBO Female Lightweight Champion Cecilia ”La Reina” Comunales successfully retained her title on Tuesday night (April 19) at the Rio Uruguay Amphitheatre in Paysandu, Uruguay.

22 year-old Comunales won a hard-fought unanimous decision (96-93, 98-92 and 99-94) over game Argentinean challenger Alicia Susana Alegre.

With the victory Comunales, who was making her first defense of the title she won in January, improved her professional record to 8-1 (5). Alegre dropped to 7-5 (7).

Dubbed “Defending The Kingdom” and a part of the traditional “Week Of Beer” celebration in Paysandu, Comunales vs. Alegre was the main event of a show broadcasted by Vtv, the largest Sports Network in Uruguay.
