Boxing Results: Vasquez Takes Out Dailey In Harrah’s Chester

This past Friday night, popular Lightweight Victor Vasquez got back into the win column as he scored a fourth round stoppage over Gustavo Dailey in a rematch that highlight a terrific seven bout card at Harrah’s in Chester, Pa.

The bouts were promoted by Joey Eye Boxing along with David Feldman and can now be purchased on www.gfl.tv

Vaaquez pounded Dailey’s body throughout the fight before landing a right to the top of the head that sent Dailey wobbling to the canvas. When he rose to his feet the referee stopped the fight.

In the co-feature, Tony Ferrnate was systematic in taking out Joe Park at 2:47 of round four of their scheduled six round bout.

Ferrante was coming off a devastating stoppage loss in January showed no ill effects of that fight and was very aggressive in getting his tenth victory.

Other winners include local favorites Angel Ocasio; Fred Jenkins Jr. (who defeated Todd Erikkson in a bout where Erikkson took the bout on less than one day’s notice); Joey Tiberi and the Naim Nelson.
