Catbox Entertainment is very pleased to announce a boxing match in Oklahoma City on Friday, June 17, 2011, that could be a featured main event anywhere in the world.
Eric Fields (17-1, 14 KOs) will face Danny Batchelder (25-8, 12 KOs) over eight rounds at cruiserweight.
The outstanding records of these two fighters, along with the list of impressive top ten opposition they both have faced, exemplifies the highest level in boxing.
Many boxing experts believe No. 7 rated Eric “Danger” Fields (17-1, 14 KOs) is the best boxer on the planet and will win the world title as soon as a title fight is set.
Danny Batchelder, on the other hand, has defeated NABF Cruiserweight title holder Arthur Williams (40-12) and current WBO Latino Cruiserweight title holder Laudelino Jose Barros (33-2).
Batchhelder fought for the NABA and WBC USNBC Cruiserweight titles losing a decision to Matt Godfrey (20-2). Batchelder has fought Heavyweight Champions James Toney (69-6), and Leamon Brewster (33-4), losing by a split decision to Toney. The Brewster fight was for the NABA Heavyweight Title.
Catbox fighters Fields and Noah Zuhdi (14-2, 12 KOs) have been in training camp in Colorado Springs, CO, preparing for the fights at the Cox Center Friday, June 17.
In camp with Zuhdi and Fields are two time light welterweight World Champion Devon Alexander and cruiserweight Ryan Coyne, who is fighting for the world title later this month on HBO. The sparring has been fierce. Noah Zuhdi’s opponent TBA.
Four additional bouts are scheduled with Becca Miller, Travis Hoffman, Ron Aubrey, Bo Gibbs, Jr. and other boxers.
