Sing-Yu Defends WBO Pacific Youth Title In Thailand

On Wednesday at Kengkajan municipality in Petburi Province, Thailand, WBO Pacific Youth bantamweight champ Puengluang Sor Sing-yu defended his title against Marvn Tampos if the Philipines in front of an audience of over 5,000.

The bout was very competitive but Puengluang had a better rhythm and banged his left fist into the target more, closing Tampos’ eye.

The title contest continued until round six when the referee took time to allow ring doctor to look at Tampos, at which point the bout was halted.

Other fights on the bill saw Kwanpichit 13 Rienexpress win a six rounder, Narubet Saenkla Sainamdoi Sitjadaeng won a six rounder with Kanpet Manoprungroj and Jomyutjiew Vor Rungtavee KO’d Mangkornfai Sor Jaran in two.

The OneSongchai promoted card was televised live on Channel 7 from 15.00-17.00.
