Nick Rhodes, managing director of Elite Construction, is pleased to announce that his company has entered a sponsorship agreement with Super-Bantamweight Champion – Rendall Munroe – which will allow the boxer to give up his full time job as a Bin Man in Leicester, England.
“I have been a big supporter of Rendall since he started boxing and I am sure that he can become a World Champion, and this will give him the chance to concentrate fully on achieving his ambition to be the best in the world”, said Rhodes.
Rendall is tremendously grateful to Elite Construction for their faith in his ability, and although he has always said that he wouldn’t give up his day job – he realises that to achieve his goal he needs to be 100% focused on boxing.
31 year old southpaw Munroe, 23-2 (9), won the European, Commonwealth and English titles over the course of a three year, 11 bout win streak that ended last October in Tokyo, Japan during a big hearted but unsuccessful bid to unseat WBC Super-Bantamweight Champion Toshiaki Nishioka.
Since that time, Munroe is on a campaign for another world title opportunity and has won both of his bouts.
