Bute vs. Froch Confirmed For Capital FM Arena Nottingham

Matchroom Sport can confirm that Carl Froch’s IBF super middleweight title fight with Lucian Bute will take place at the Capital FM Arena Nottingham on May 26.

“We explored the opportunity of taking the event outside but with licensing issues and uncertainty over potential capacity, we decided to remain at the Capital FM Arena,” said Hearn.

“We also explored venues in Manchester and London but again it lacked the fairytale story of Carl fighting in his hometown, which has always been the dream. We appreciate that the event will sell out in weeks, so we urge fight fans to get their tickets quickly.”
