Reid to Fight on Despite Lacy Beating.

Regardless of being knocked down and ultimately stopped for the first time in his boxing career, former WBC super middleweight champion Robin Reid says he will be back in action. Reid told The Guardian that he was not hurt by Lacy’s punches and gave assurances that, despite being thirty-four, he will get back intot he ring. The manner of the loss came as a severe shock to many in the British boxing contingent, having watched Reid’s entire professional career elapse without so much as a knockdown. The loss was Reid’s fifth, having already lost to Thulane Malinga, Sven Ottke, Silvio Branco and Joe Calzaghe.

Stay tuned for more news on Reid as it develops.
