WBA Titles On Line At KO Drugs Event In Jamaica

Costa Rica’s Jaime Barboza will face Peruvian Mauricio Reynoso’s opponent on December 8, at the KO Drugs event in Kingston, Jamaica.

Reynoso and Barboza will battle 11 rounds for the WBA Fedelatin Super Middleweight championship. The Inca is undefeated in 14 fights with one draw and 11 knockouts, while the “Tico” has 17 victories with 7 defeats and 8 KO’s.

The main card of the event will the for the WBA featherweight title between Nicholas Walters and Daulis Prescott. The host, Walters, is undefeated in 21 fights with 17 KO’s; while the Colombian Prescott has 26 wins, one loss and 19 KO’s.

The second title fight will feature Kina Malpartida, WBA Female Super featherweight champion, who will defend her title against the American Stancey Reile.

Malpartida’s record is 14 wins, 3 losses and 4 KO’s, and her opponent has 12 wins, 4 losses and 4 KO’s.

Finally, the third title fight will be for the WBA Female Super Bantamweight Interim title between the Venezuelan Alys “La China” Sánchez with the Mexican María Elena Villalobos.

“La China” is undefeated in eleven fights with 4 KO’s, and the Aztec’s record is 12-7, one draw with 5 KO’s.

The fight between Onalvi Sierra and Ricardo Córdoba that was supposed to be for the Fedelatin Featherweight title was postponed, due to an injury of the later.
