Singyu Retains Regional WBC Bantam Crown in Thailand

OneSongchai TigerGroup put on a night of fights at Bangla Stadium, Kratu district in Phuket Province on Friday.

In the main event, rising star Bualuang Sor Singyu defended his WBC Asian Boxing Council bantamweight title against Indonesian challenger Arief Blader by unanimous decision.

OneSongchai, together with TigerGroup, partnered with the most well known entertainment arena in Phuket.

OneSongchai TigerGroup presented the WBC Asia promotion in association with Mr.Piya Isaramalai, TigerGroup Patong President and event chairman Dr. Prompong Nopparit, the PeuThai Spokesman.

“Needle Lotus” Singyu defended his WBC Asia title against Arief Blader with scores of 120 – 108 on all three judge’s cards.

Flyweight “Elephant Fist” Kwanpichit won a tuneup fight fight against pro debutant Saeng-anan Lukbanyai by second round KO in preparation for a world title clash next year.

Other fights on the bill included ambidextrous minimumweight Buangen Kietsombat outpointing pro debutant Kularpkaing Kietpompetch over six rounds, super flyweight Susu Sitjedang defeated veteran Petwanchai Sor Visetkit over six rounds and minimumweight Buakaew Kietsombat won on points over six rounds against pro debutant Petsirung Sitjapan.
