Undefeated Puerto Rican welterweight contender Carlos Quintana kept his good streak going with a solid win over International level fighter Dillon Carew last Friday. The twenty-eight-year-old southpaw knocked out Carew, who had been in with Ricky Hatton, in the very first round on the under-card of Joan Guzman’s decision win over Terdsak Jandaeng. Quintana, otherwise known as “El Indio,” holds a professional record that now stands at twenty-one wins with seventeen stoppages.
