Arum Steps Down at Top Rank.

Former Top Rank Promotions president Bob Arum has stepped down from his position in the organization. The announcement arrived today and Arum was quick to announce his successor in the form of son-in-law Todd duBoef. Arum has been recognized for decades as one

of boxing’s two major promoters and he has indulged in very much publicized wars of words with fellow promotional guru Don King. Arum counts the phenomenal success of Oscar de la Hoya among the finest of his many achievemtents in the sport. He will remain closely involved with the promotional outfit that also promotes world champion standouts such as Floyd Mayweather Jr., Erik Morales and Miguel Cotto.
