The Chilean Carolina “Crespita”Rodriguez and Brazilian Daiane Ribeiro will meet on Friday, February 22, to define who will be the owner of the vacant Fedelatin bantamweight belt.
The battle will be staged at the Olympic Training Center gym in Santiago, Chile.
Rodriguez, 29, besides being the favorite and will be fighting at home, she also is undefeated in six fights. On the other hand, Ribeiro, 23, has of four victories and four defeats, with two knockouts.
The battle is scheduled for eight rounds, in what will be a historical night for Chilean boxing for this will be the first time a female professional fight takes place.
