Everything was falling into place for heavyweight contender Dominick ‘Southern Disaster’ Guinn; he was rising through the ratings and getting heavy exposure from HBO in beating the likes of Michael Grant and Duncan Dokiwari in excellent style. Then fellow heavyweight contender Monte Barrett came along and suddenly, the gravy train got derailed and Guinn and his team, including famed trainer Ronnie Shields had to go back to the drawing board. Adding insult to injury was the fact that New Yorker Barrett walked out of Guinn’s Hot Springs Arkansas home town with Guinn’s unbeaten record. Now, Guinn will come up against Serguei ‘White Wolf’ Lyakhovich. The two fighters have only two losses between them but Lyakhovich has five good comeback wins since his own loss that came against perennial underachiever Maurice Harris. This heavyweight explosion will take place on December 3rd at Bally’s hotel and casino in Atlantic City New Jersey, USA.
