After an unfortunate mining accident leaving Colin Wilson’s preparation in tatters his rematch with Nathan Briggs has been postponed until April 7. This fight has been replaced with another Australian Title fight. Billy Hussein trained Ahmed Elomar will put his Australian Title and undefeated record on the line when he faces Ruben Santillanosa February 24 at the Kedron Wavell Services Club. Elomar is no stranger to boxing fans as he is a regular on Fox Sports and Main event shows. He has promised to bring his A game to the ring next week.
In the main supporting bout undefeated Brisbane favourite Chris McCullen takes on former Canadian Amateur Champion and undefeated Paul Walhberg. McCullen is taking a lot of risks with this fight and sees himself as the underdog.
Supporting the main event will be an action packed under card made up of local QLD fighters and some rising stars of the future. One name regular fight fans will be glad to see on the card is Mark “The Dominator” De Mori!
