Mohegan Sun presents an exciting night of championship boxing as former world light heavyweight champion Montell Griffin (47-6, 30 KOs) from Chicago battles Norman Jones (28-14-3, 9 KOs) from Savannah, Georgia in a 12-round bout for the vacant USBA Light Heavyweight title. The action begins at 7:30pm in the Mohegan Sun Arena, and will be televised live on ESPN2.

Meanwhile, Norman Jones is coming off a ninth round TKO victory against Robert Marsh on February 25, 2006. Both fighters are primed and ready for battle and have their sights set on the USBA Light Heavyweight Championship.
