Making their Silverhawk Boxing debuts, the Mitchell twins, Eric and Aaron, return to the ring March 31 on a show promoted by Eventco Sports in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Eric (18-4-1, 9 KOs) takes on middleweight Elias Cruz (13-12, 7 KOs) in a six-round match. Eric has won six of his last seven fights, the lone exception a 10-round loss by decision as a last day replacement against now world junior middleweight champion Ricardo Mayorga.
His most notable victory was a 12th round TKO of Ross Thompson (24-4-1) in 2001 for the NABA middleweight title. The veteran Cruz has been in against Mayorga, Jose Antonio Rivera and Thomas Damgaard.
Inactive for more than two years, Aaron (23-1-1, 18 KOs) has been matched against Guyanese junior middleweight champion Dillon Carew (20-14-3, 12 KOs) in a six-round bout.
Aaron, the former IBC middleweight champion, is riding an 11-fight win streak, all by knockout. Carew has fought the likes of Ricky Hatton, Meldrick Taylor, Leonard Dorin and Chop Chop Corley.
