moved to the following Monday night.
The main event will feature the explosive Dominic Salcido (8-0, 5 KOs) from near Rialto, CA, in a six-round bout. The talented prospect will headline a show for the first time in his career.
Salcido recently signed a long-term agreement with Thompson Boxing Promotions.
Salcido kayoed Odilon Rivera, his most recent opponent, in round four of his last fight after an eleven-month lay off. “I need to get more rounds and improve my skills,” said Salcido from his training camp in nearby Indio. “Being the main event adds some pressure but I am excited about it,” concluded Salcido.
An opponent will be announced shortly.
Also on the card will be flyweight sensation Manuel Roman (7-0-1, 5 KOs), plus super middleweight Ivan Stovall (3-1, 2 KOs) against Juan Carlos Parra (5-5-2, 4 KOs). Welterweights Gustavo Torrales (4-1, 2 KOs) and Juan Pablo Montes de Oca (6-9, 3 KOs) will face each other, and featherweight Sytel Wilbarn (1-0) will go at it against Isidro Herrera (0-3-1). Also, phenomenal southpaw Carlos Martinez (1-0,1 KO) will face Felipe Campaña (2-3-2, 1 KO) in a jr. welterweight duel.
