Brisbane and Melbourne’s community boxing show “In the Red Corner” has been nominated for an Antenna award for Best Sports Program in 2006
This is the community equivalent to the mainstream Logies
The show is up against 4 Victorian based programs for the top prize.

The awards night will be telecast live from the BMW Edge at Federation Square in Melbourne to all community stations around Australia Friday 16 June from 7:30 pm.
In all there are 30 categories up for grabs including best program, best presenter right through to best sponsorship announcement.
In the Red Corner was nominated for the episode featuring the Australian Heavyweight Title fight between Colin Wilson and Nathan Briggs in December of 2005. The team consisted of Mark Forbes, Mark “Chopper” Burgess, Steve Pannan, Mike Steere, Bucko Buckland, Peter Rookas and Brian Kirwan.
“In the Red Corner” airs weekly on Channel 31 Melbourne at 10:30 pm Tuesday and 8:30 pm Thursday on Briz31.
