Krasniqi Retains European Title.

Tonight In Germany, European heavyweight champion Luan Krasniqi was unable to decisively make challenger Timo Hoffman pay for his pre-fight taunts as the fight was collectively scored a draw. No winner could be found between the two and as such, Krasniqi retains his European title. A return bout with Hoffman who is now trained by star American trainer Buddy McGirt might be the order of the day for Krasniqi to finally settle this situation. The fight was preceded by a brilliantly dominant display by middleweight Felix Sturm who knocked out former world champion Hassine Cherifi in three rounds, one round sooner than Felix Trinidad could manage. With the win, the possibility of Sturm meeting Trinidad next year remains a distinct possibility.
