“On 21st July I’m going to give the English fans something to shout about. They have been deprived of winning sportsmen this summer and my performance against Abdoul will help them forget about the World Cup and put a smile on their faces.
“I’ll fight at cruiserweight as long as I have to then I’ll move up to the heavyweight division – but not until I’ve beaten O’Neill Bell – I have to prove I’m the best in the cruiserweight division first and at the moment Abdoul is the man standing in my way.
“I think a future fight against Bell would be great. He’s very temperamental but has great punching power. We both come to fight and are heavy-handed which makes for a terrific fight. I don’t think it would go more than 8 rounds though because we both punch so hard.
“I have no worries stepping up to the heavyweight division when the time is right. Evander Holyfield has always been one of my heroes and he wasn’t the biggest heavyweight but he was one of the best ever. I’d love to follow in his footsteps and prove that the smaller heavyweights can really dominate the division.
“I’d love to fight Valuev in a “David verses Goliath’ type match. Everyone would think that he would blow me away but I’m confident I’ve got the technical ability beat him.”
