Contender star Joey Gilbert (12-1, 9 KOs) gets ready for his New York debut at the Westchester County Center in White Plains on Wednesday night, October 11, when he squares off against Keith Sims (25-12-1, 14 KO’s) in the main event on Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing card. Gilbert, the practicing lawyer and corporate exec, will attempt another hostile takeover in the ring, defending the NABO Middleweight Championship he won by stopping rival Jimmy Lange last February.
