Silverhawk Boxing: Promoter of the Year

Silverhawk Championship Boxing has been selected by the World Boxing Council Continental Americas Championship Committee as its Promoter of the Year. The award will be presented at the 44th World Convention of the WBC on October 30 in Cavtat, Croatia.

“Silverhawk Boxing is the fastest growing promotional company in boxing today,” Silverhawk president Dennis Rider said. “We are all honored by this announcement because it serves as validation of all our hard work and dedication to achieving excellence in pro boxing. We’re very proud to receive this award and believe it’s the first of many Silverhawk will receive in the coming years. I’d like to commend everybody in the Silverhawk family and thank the WBC Continental Americas Championship Committee for this tremendous honor.”

Members of the WBC Continental Americas Championship Committee include Roy Van Putten, President; Steve Wolochow, Secretary/Treasurer; Claude Jackson, USA/Canada Representative; Mauricio Sulaiman, Mexico Representative.

“This award is a direct reflection of our entire organization,” Rider added, “from all of the brave fighters, including their managers and trainers, to the talented members of our administrative and operations staff. Silverhawk Boxing is still fairly young as a boxing promoter and that’s why this prestigious award means so much to all us. Our goals are to build champions, promote first-class shows and help bring this great sport back to prominence. We thank everybody associated with the WBC Continental Americas Championship Committee for selecting Silverhawk Championship Boxing as its Promoter of the Year.”
