Adam Nolan is through to the last 16 of the European Championships in Minsk, Belarus following an impressive win over Tomasz Kot today.
The Bray BC southpaw beat the Polish welterweight on an unanimous decision (30-27,29-28,29-28) at the Palace of Sport in the Belarusian capital.
The London 2012 Olympian will now meet Bogdan Shelestyuk of the Ukraine in the last 16 on Tuesday.
Earlier today, Belfast lightweight Sean McComb lost out on a unanimous decision (29-27,29-28,29-29) to London 2012 Olympian Pavlo Ischenko of the Ukraine.
