Elite Boxing Enterprises Re-signs Delvin Rodriguez

AJ Galante’s professional boxing management company Elite Boxing Enterprises is proud to announce the re-signing of former Super Welterweight title challenger Delvin Rodriguez, to an extension of Galante’s managerial contract.

The deal was reached earlier this week with Galante happy about the future.

“I’m very excited that Delvin Rodriguez and I have come to terms to continue our business relationship.” Said Galante.

“We’ve formed a very young and hungry team, and we’ve made great strides in just two years. We still have our work cut out for us, in regards to reaching our goal of becoming a World Champion.

“I know Delvin Rodriguez has it in him to become world champion, and that is why I have continued working with him and have dedicated so much time and effort into him. Myself, along with our promoter Joe DeGuardia of Star Boxing, have a great plan for the coming year, and I feel as long as Delvin continues to win, we will be champion sooner than later.”

Rodriguez of Danbury, Connecticut has a record of 28-6-3 with sixteen knockouts. He competed for the WBA Super Welterweight title on June 2, 2012 when he came up short and dropped a unanimous decision to Austin Trout.

Rodriguez competed in the 2011 Fight of The Year when he and Pawel Wolak fought to a draw on July 15, 2011 in New York City. Rodriguez subsequently won the rematch on December 3 2011 by winning a unanimous decision. The match was part of the Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito rematch undercard that was seen worldwide on HBO Pay Per View.

The 33 year-old Rodriguez is coming off a eighth round stoppage over former world title challenger Freddy Hernandez on May 24 in Uncasville, Connecticut.

Galante also manages undefeated Jr. Middleweight prospect Frank Galarza (10-0-2, 6 KO’s) of Brooklyn, New York.
