Harty, McDonagh Win In Euro Schoolboy Championships

Jamie Harty and Martin McDonagh both won as Ireland posted two wins from two bouts on Day 1 of the 2013 EUBC European Schoolboy Championships at the Citywest Hotel in Dublin, Ireland today.

The Russian Ambassador to Ireland, Mr Maxim Peshkov, attended tonight’s opening ceremony and second session of boxing. Mr Peshkov wished all the countries at the 19-nation tournament the very best of good luck in Dublin.

The Cill Dara Irish Figure Dancing Group from Kildare Town produced an excellent performance at tonight’s opening ceremony.
