Last night at the Chevrolet Centre in Youngstown, Ohio “Iron” Mike Tyson went four rounds with Corey “T-Rex” Sanders (not to be confused with former WBO Champion Corrie Sanders of South Africa), who wore the headgear, in what amounted to a spirited sparring session.
Tyson did his part to entertain the crowd, knocking down the enormous 6 foot 6, 292 lb Sanders in the first round and shaking the much taller fighter in every round. Although no decision was declared, as is the norm during an exhibition, Tyson clearly won a “newspaper decision” as Sanders, despite his size, had little interest other than surviving the experience.
