Fresno’s welterweight sensation, Marcos Hernandez (2-0) remained undefeated with a dominating performance against Donte Stower (0-5) winning every round to cement another unanimous decision on Saturday at StubHub Center in Carson, CA.
“I’ve been off for a while so I wanted to shake off the rust and put on a great show for the fans,” said Marcos Hernandez. “Although I didn’t get the knockout, I won every round and pretty much dominated the fight.
“I’m hoping to get back in the ring very soon. I want to thank Al Haymon and Luis Decubas Jr. for believing in me and giving me this opportunity.”
“Marcos looked great this past Saturday,” said Luis DeCubas Jr. “We want to build him up against different styles so he can become a complete fighter.
“Stower was a runner and we wanted him to get some rounds in. He did what he had to do and pulled out the victory. Me and Al plan to get him right back in the ring.”
