Sanigar Events are proud to present ‘Dragon Fire’, a night of Championship Boxing on Saturday 4th October at the Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Centre in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales.
Dai Davies will make a triumphant return to the ring following his thrilling rematch win over Robbie Turley to retain his Welsh featherweight title at the same venue in back in July.
Dai will face off against Chuck Jones in an all Welsh battle for the prestigious featherweight title. Both fighters are renowned for their toughness and this promises to be a fierce battle for the right to call themselves champion of Wales.
Promoter Jamie Sanigar is very excited to be heading back to Wales. “We are pleased to be making a return visit to the Merthyr Tydfil Leisure centre in our third event in the town this year! We always have a fantastic reception from the local crowd and this time will be no different. Dai Davies showed last time what a tough champion he is and there is always fireworks when there is a Welsh title on the line.”

The supporting fight card will consist of a host of Welsh talent including an anticipated rematch between Luke Osman (Merthyr) and Jimmy White (Cardiff), Tony Dixon (Mountain Ash), Danni Griffifths (Bridgend), Heavyweights Dorian Darch (Aberdare) and Darren Morgan (Swansea), Lloyd Davies (Tylorstown), Kyle Jones (Pontypridd), Chris Ware (Swansea), Barrie Jones (Ferndale) and debutantes Morgan Jones (Aberdare) and Jamie Evans (Merthyr).
