World ranked lightweight Monty Meza Clay has signed an exclusive promotional contract with Boxing legend Mike Tyson and Iron Mike Productions it was announced today.
“We’re thrilled to bring Monty aboard to our team. His fight against Allan Herrera in August was one of the most valiant performances I’ve seen in many years,” said Tyson. “He’s exactly the type of all-action warrior that we love to promote.”
Stated Clay, “I’m honored to join Mike and the team at Iron Mike Productions. I can’t wait to get back into the ring in Pittsburgh on November 14th.”
The highly popular Western Pennsylvania native Clay improved to 36-3-0 (2KO’s) stopping tough Mexican veteran Allan Herrera in the tenth round of their “Fight of the Year” candidate on August 8 in front of a huge crowd at Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh and a nationally televised audience.

Currently ranked #15 by the World Boxing Council, Clay will return to battle at “The Pride of Pittsburgh II” set for Friday, November 14 at Consol Energy Center in the ten round co-main event against
“Lightning” Rod Salka.
