Sanigar Events are proud to announce their first championship boxing show of 2015. ‘Unfinished Business’ will take place at the Newport Centre in Newport, Wales on March 13 and is to be headlined with rematches between Craig Kennedy v Wadi Camacho and Frankie Borg v Chris Ware.
The first contest between Kennedy and Camacho ended in controversy when the Londoner bit the Welshman on the neck and referee Martin Williams disqualified Camacho.
Until the point of stoppage, the fight had just began to heat up as ‘The Kid’ Kennedy landed hurtful punches that cut Camacho under the eye. Both parties were quick to ask for a rematch and public demand by Welsh fight fans ensured that it had to happen.
In the co-headline event, Frankie Borg and Chris Ware will fight in a rematch for the Welsh Title (subject to BBBoC approval). Ware upset Borg by a unanimous points win as a late replacement in December.
Ware surprised Welsh champion Borg by knocking him down in the first and fourth rounds to win a thrilling contest over four rounds. Borg demanded a rematch over a longer distance and is willing to put his Welsh title on the line.
The supporting fight card will consist of a host of boxing talent from Wales and the Westcountry.
The event will be shown live on Eurosport across 109 countries and we expect another great show of support from the Welsh public.
Tickets for are priced at £30 general admission. For tickets call the Box Office on 0117 949 6699
