Barrera and Marquez at LA
Marco Antonio Barrera and Juan Manuel Marquez, that are programmed to see action on Saturday, March 17 at the MGM Grand of Las Vegas, will arrive this Wednesday in Los Angeles to be ready for his first press conference on Thursday, January 25 at the House of Blues in Hollywood, Ca. Barrera will expose his WBC super featherweight champions title by fifth occasion against Marquez that is the present WBO featherweight champion

Escobedo accelerate preparation
Vicente Escobedo, who got three consecutive victories and left behind his first loss has a pro, is working very hard at the Wild Card Gym of Hollywood, Ca, for his up coming fight against Tiger Smalls on Thursday February 1 at Arco Arena in Sacramento, which will be presented by legendary promoter Don Chargin. Escobedo (12-1, 11 KO’s) defeat Julian Rodriguez in his last fight.

Ricardo Juarez gets “Golden’
Ricardo Rocky Juarez (25-3, 18 KO’s) is officially a new member of the prestigious stable of Golden Boy Promotions after he signed a contract with this firm with base at Los Angeles.
Juarez, who won the silver medal at the 2000 Sydney Games, will lead the up coming card at the Desert Diamond Casino of Tucson Arizona against Mexican Emmanuel Lucero (23-3-1, 14 KO’s). In other battles of that special card, Miguel “Mickey” Roman will face a TBA opponent Otis Griffin faces Aneudi Santos.

Lazcano in a great opportunity
Now that the super lightweight division is getting hot with a full of recognized names, the called “The Hispanic Causin’ Panic’, Juan Lazcano, will have another opportunity to get in the line of the super light weight world title, when he face the Guyana’s Vivian Harris, on the card scheduled for Saturday, February 10 at the Mandalay Bay of Las Vegas.
The Lazcano-Harris eliminatory fight will the co featured fight of the card headlined by Shane Mosley against Luis Collazo whom will battle for the WBC interim welterweight world title.
In other fight, the undefeated Australian Bylly DIB will face Mexican Carlos “Ferrus” Contreras.

A duel of Mexican roosters
After some delays on the firm for this spectacular fight, Israel Vazquez is ready to defend the WBC super bantam world title against Rafael Marquez on Saturday, March 3 on a site to be determined later. The Vazquez vs. Marquez world championship fight will be promoted by Gary Shaw Productions in association with Sycuan Ringside Promotions and Golden Boy Promotions. Showtime will telecast this important battle.
