Undefeated Super-Middleweight Sam Stokes (3-0) is the latest prospect to put pen to paper and sign a three year contract with rising manager/promoter Steve Goodwin.
Stokes, from Basildon in Essex, last fought in February 2015 and is desperate to get active under his new team and plans to return to the ring on November 5 at York Hall.
“It is great now to have such a good team behind me,” said Stokes. “I want to fulfil my potential and this signing will definitely help me attain that”.
“No joke” Stokes is trained by Ross Woolgrove at the Winners Gym in Essex and joins a growing trainer who now has six professionals training out of his gym.
Steve Goodwin said, “We are delighted to welcome Sam to our growing team and look forward to working with him to fulfil his aspirations. As with all our boxers we will work closely with them and their training teams. We are looking to promote in big venues in 2016 and Sam will be an integral part of this.”
