Brian Minto Minto Signs Contract With Aussie Firm, Calls Out Danny Green

Brian “The Beast” Minto has begun the next phase of his exciting career by entering into a management contract with Australian based Xcite Fight Promotions.

The rugged Pennsylvanian has immediately set his sights on Australia’s Danny Green. Green, who was victorious in his overnight victory against Argentina’s Roberto Balonti by way of points, competes in the Cruiserweight division.

“Firstly, I’m very excited to be teaming up with Matt Clark and Xcite Fight and getting myself back into the mix,” said Minto. “I’ve been wanting more direction in my career and I’m joining a team that is moving forward. I’ve fought all over the world and I would have no problems in facing Green in Australia.

“Danny is a tough guy and I respect him immensely. It’s great to see him back in the ring and it’s good for boxing in that part of the world. We both have a great win against Shane Cameron and we are both aggressive come forward boxers.

“I’ve fought in New Zealand on three separate occasions and I’ve beaten a couple of other Aussies already in my career. It’s a fight that will put bums on seats, have the interest of television and it’s a guaranteed war. I congratulate Danny on his recent win but he’s in my sights”.

Minto, who has faced the likes of Chris Arreola, Shane Cameron, Artur Szpilka, Marco Huck and Joseph Parker, will look to establish himself in the Cruiserweight division. “I’m currently sitting around 206 lb so Cruiserweight is my optimal weight,” Minto continued. “If a big opportunity presents itself at Heavyweight, then of course we are open to offers”.

“Brian Minto is an absolute warrior,” Clark stated. “He’s never in a bad fight and quite simply when fight fans pay money to watch Brian Minto fight, they get their monies worth. We’re very excited about teaming up with him and getting him meaningful fights.

“Danny looked fantastic last night and he’s a great ambassador for boxing. I’ll definitely enquire with his team in due course if he’s open to facing Brian in what would be a blood and guts war. There are plenty of options moving forward for Brian at Cruiserweight and if the right option presents itself, Heavyweight too.”
