Middleweights Nick Blackwell and Jack Arnfield will both weigh in at Bristol’s Marriott Hotel on Friday, November 13 ahead of their British title fight the following day.
Blackwell is the reigning and defending British middleweight champion and has scored two of the most dramatic stoppage wins of 2015; his seventh-round victory over John Ryder in May, at a sold-out O2 Arena, landed him his current title, and his first defence in July against Damon Jones saw him retain the belt with a stunning one-punch knockout in the sixth round.
Challenger Arnfeld, meanwhile, has won 19 of 20 pro fights and beaten the likes of Max Maxwell and Mick Hall. This is his first shot at a major domestic title and he promises to grab it with both hands.
Also appearing at Friday’s 1pm weigh-in, which is open to the public, will be former Olympian and world amateur star Andrew Selby, all set for his second pro fight on Saturday, and his unbeaten opponent Jozsef Ajtai.
