Mesi to Sue NYSAC.

The saga of heavyweight contender Joe Mesi continues as he has announced that he intends to sue the New York State Athletic Commission. Mesi recently once again used the world boxing media to announce his intent to resume his boxing career but this latest development indicates that Mesi might well be resigned to the

possibility that his fighting days are over. Mesi alleges that the NYSAC breached his privacy by handing out copies of his medical record to members of the press in the aftermath of Mesi’s fight with Vassilliy Jirov that saw Mesi sustain severe brain injury. A Mesi camp spokesman stated to the media that the NYSAC’s actions severely damaged Mesi’s career, perhaps ending it permanently. Stay tuned for more details.
