Ex-Boxing Champion Chris Byrd To Join Showtime’s ShoBox Team

One of the biggest fight weekends in years will begin this Friday on Showtime when undefeated “Fast” Eddie Chambers faces Dominick Guinn in the main event on “ShoBox: The New Generation” from the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas.

Showtime will televise the heavyweight showdown at 11 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast.

Former two-time heavyweight champion Chris Byrd will join “ShoBox” announcers Nick Charles and Steve Farhood as a guest commentator on the telecast.
