Chicago’s 8 Count Productions, has announced details of “Test Of Courage”, the next installment of world class professional boxing set for Friday, June 1 at Cicero Stadium.
Headlining “Test Of Courage” is an excellent ten round welterweight bout between highly regarded prospect Freddy Hernandez, 21-1 (17KO’s) of Mexico City and former world title challenger, Ghanaian Ben Tackie, 29-6 (17KO’s) now based out of the Bronx, New York.
Featured in the co-main is current WBO NABO super featherweight title holder, Daniel Jimenez, 16-1-1 (10KO’s) of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The undercard features Chicago’s hottest prospects including middleweight knockout artist Victor Polyakov, undefeated welterweight Ivan Popoca, junior welterweight Jose Manuel Ortega and junior middleweight Jorge Gonzalez.

The open to the public weigh-in for this event will take place on Thursday, May 31 at 7pm at Club Aquarius, 2459 N. Pulaski, on the northwest side of Chicago.
The Master of Ceremonies for this event will be the internationally recognized voice of Latino boxing, Lupe Contreras.
“Test of Courage” is presented by Dominic Pesoli’s 8 Count Productions along with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and TCF Bank.
Cicero Stadium is located at 1909 S. Laramie, just minutes from the Eisenhower and Stevenson Expressways. Doors for this event will open at 5:30pm with the first bell at 6:30pm. Tickets are available in advance by calling 312-226-5800.
